Google.org, The Lesser Known Side Of Google

Try visiting google.com and google.org for a bit of a spin. It turns out that Google’s philanthropic arm of the company runs it’s end off of the .org connotation. It’s a really powerful and notable use of the URL that isn’t seen very often. Usually a company just links all of the possible URL’s together and redirects to a main site. But google, they’ve decided to use the system in the way it was supposed to be used. This may not mean much to your average joe, but the power users and coders out there will find it honorable.

Perhaps BestBuy.com should have a BestBuy.org side too?
